Vanessa Bley
Vanessa
Bley is a NYC based musician, singer, composer and producer. She
resides in the east village and is currently recording her debut record
out of Doghouse studios in Brooklyn NY.
Bley's father, jazz pianist,
Paul Bley introduced Vanessa to NYC at a young age, playing there or
departing from on route to the world for a tour. Since moving here at
age 17, Bley has played various venues in NYC and more recently LA from
CBGB's, The Knitting Factory, SOB's, The Bitter End, Birdland etc.
Hotel Cafe, The Derby in LA and Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco.
Bley's composition work has been featured in EA Game, "Burnout 5
Paradise which she co-wrote and sang backup vocals on the song,
"Creepshow" for artist, KERLI signed to Island Def Jam (Record due out
Spring 08) The track has also been licensed for the Roland Joffe film
starring Mischa Barton, "You and I." Bley sang and co-wrote three
tracks on PISTOL Recordings, "Anxiety X" due out this spring. Stay
